Or this post’s headline can also read less excited, like, ‘jakarta, I’m dropping by’. But that would be boring. Heh.

Anyway, so I’m leaving for Jakarta later. My flight is at 11am, but I will be at the airport by 9 to check in and settle my luggage(s). It’s four minutes past midnight now, still unpacked and just bumming around, surfing nonsense and refreshing facebook every few minutes.

No, I am not a facebook addict – I’m just using it as a distraction. A distraction from all the things that I am thinking about, the line of events that I am going to go through, and the past.

I had a haircut a few days ago, which cost me $20 from an original price of $12 at Essensuals, The Mall. A bloody shave. A very badly done, unclean shave cost me an extra $8, when I could have done a better job shaving myself. Oh well. But it was fun hanging out with my bestfriends Farah and Siti – they’re awesome! Hehe..

Alot of things that I feel like expressing here, but maybe not now, or not ever even. Fifteen minutes past 12. I think I should pack my bags now. Yay.

I’ll leave you with these photos from yesterday’s Technical Institutions’ Convocation day. A big shout out to Al-Haadi, Marriz, Herman, Sham, Najib, Nazmo and kawan-kawanku yang sewaktu dengannya yang telah graduate tadi. Haha.. Sorry if your photos nada disini, nanti tah ku mengakas harddiskku for your photos, kalau ada.

Just follow the link to the set in my flickr. But I shall also be posting the photos in my facebook, no worries. Just tag yerself there yeah? :D

Goodbye.

I had never heard of Bobby Chinn until Farah told me about him when she was called last-minute to cover his filming session at the Gadong Pasar Malam last Friday. /breathes in../ Lol.

Anyway, yeah, seriously I only found out who he was, etc as Farah gave me a little info about him as I took shots of him going around the Pasar Malam like a lost tourist.

Bobby was in the country for a few days with Antony Worrall, another celebrity chef. Here are photos of them in action, just normal shots and nothing out of the ordinary.

Louis Pang Shoot Like A Pro Workshop

with 3 comments

Hello, blog hoppers, friends, family, clients and photographers alike! This is my first blog post since I shut down my blogspot.

The reason why I needed to open up a new blog is to establish a platform for me to showcase my latest works, or any update in regards to my life. Expect a few other posts which are music and basketball-related, as those are my other two passions.

I’ll start off by posting photos from the photography workshop that I was invited to yesterday, the inaugural Shoot Like A Pro Workshop by Louis Pang.

Louis is no stranger in the Wedding Photography scene. Here’s an excerpt from one of the press releases by Louis Pang Studio:

“Louis travels the world to photograph weddings, engagement sessions and
modern portraiture. The Star calls him “the passionate newcomer” with his
fresh and contemporary style of work.

Louis is Malaysia’s most awarded wedding & portrait photographer and the
first Malaysian to win first place in Wedding & Portrait Photographers
International (WPPI), the world’s largest and most prestigious wedding
photography competitions. Widely regarded as the Oscars of wedding and
portrait photographers, Louis had won five WPPI awards since July 2007.

Louis was appointed Epson Stylus Pro in 2006. This is an elite fraternity of
professional photographers specially chosen for their exception vision and
technical know-how. Louis is a dedicated educator of digital photography who
teaches and writes on this field.

Wedding assignments have brought Louis to Australia, England, Holland, Hong
Kong, India, Philippines, Singapore, USA & Thailand. He thrives on the challenge
of working in different environment and cultures, and enjoys the fun of seeing
the world wherever his work brings him to.

He and his lovely wife, Jasmine, make picturesque Sabah, East Malaysia their
home and are making beautiful memories for themselves in their marriage.”

Without further ado, here are my photos from the workshop. Comments and critiques are very much welcomed. It’s the fastest way to grow, so shoot on lads! :)
